Women’s Events

Mercedes Jackson of UMBC won the women’s 60m dash in 7.39 before taking the 200m in 23.81.

Grace Claxton of Albany won the 400m dash in 54.17.

Albany’s Michelle Anthony won the 60m hurdles in 8.52.

Stony Brook’s Kaylyn Gordon reached 19’ 5.25” to win the women’s long jump.

Alexandra Baum’s mark of 40’ 7.75” was far enough to win the triple jump. Binghamton’s Keishorea Armstrong was second with a mark of 40’ 6.75”.

Daniella Olusoga won the pentathlon with 3512 points.

Albany won the Championships’ title with 197.66 points. UMBC finished second with 153 points and Binghamton finished third with 118 points.

Men’s Events

Albany’s Taariq Jones won the 400m dash in 48.37 ahead of his teammate, Youssef Benzamia, who finished in 48.52.

Jason Tomlinson of Albany took the 500m in 1:04.04. Temi Bajulaiye was a close second (1:04.08) and Christopher Poggi of New Hampshire was third (1:04.23).

Binghamton’s Adam McIe battled Youness Benzaid of Albany in the 800m. The two were neck and neck around the final turn and finished in 1:51.82 and 1:51.92, respectively.

John DeLallo of Albany won the 1000m in 2:25.76.

Alexander Bowen of Albany won the high jump with a 6’ 10.75” effort. His teammate, Matthew Campbell, cleared 6’ 10.75” as well, but took second on attempts.

Nathan Hiett of Albany won the pole vault, clearing 16’ 2.75 in less attempts than Binghamton’s Peter Fagan.

Ed Simon won the heptathlon for Vermont with 5105 points. 

Albany won the Championships’ title with 191 points. Binghamton was second with 133.33 points and New Hampshire was third with 115.33 points.
